In Sithonia’ s peninsula viewing the unique Vourvourou islands together with the view of Mount Athos, this small boutique hotel embraces the unique landscape. The interesting amphitheatrical structure of the 90’s masonry building was preserved and reinforced. The main target of this case study was to convey the feeling of the exterior scenery into the interior spaces. Creating window-views, the landscape is actively involved in a complex game of cultures and trends in the interior. Extended research led to bohemian choices thus a variety of patterns, materials, textures and bold colors with ethnic references. The studio delivered Thalassokipos reception & breakfast area, as well. The concept responds to a modern breakfast and reception area with great functionality. The custom-made furniture creates a delicate balance between the two main uses of the area. A principal reception furniture adjacent to the main entrance together with a small sitting room welcomes the guests.
